4.1 Miracle

All the efforts I seemed to spend in vain
forged the seed I didn’t know I’d be,
& now I’ve reached tenaciously & deep
beneath the busy traffic of those, like me,
who wouldn’t believe that I’m the miracle—
maybe you are, too?—
the miracle I knew I needed,
but couldn’t find, or believe I’d ever find,
& needs, now, no one’s belief,
to reach fruition & relief.
